Cine-Teatro Estarreja once again opens its stage to the new talents of fado. On February 21, the Café Concerto will host Matilde Cid and André Baptista, two names that embody the vitality and renewal of contemporary fado.

In a statement of continuity and regeneration of the genre, the newest generation of fado presents itself in Estarreja for an evening where tradition and innovation meet.

Accompanied by Mauro Resende on viola and Sebastião Pereira on Portuguese guitar, the artists take the stage continuing a project that highlights emerging talent in an intimate setting.

The Trampolim initiative has previously featured performances by names such as Sérgio Onze, Beatriz Felício, Zé Maria, and Filipa Biscaia (2023), as well as Geadas, Mel, Francisco Moreira, and Ana Rita Prada (2025). In 2026, it is the turn of Matilde Cid and André Baptista.
